Reverse any text instantly - by characters, by words, or by lines. Live output as you type, no sign-up needed.
Palindrome checking is the obvious one, reverse a word and see if it still reads the same. Beyond that people use it for mirror text and word puzzles, hidden messages that only make sense backwards, that sort of thing. String reversal also shows up constantly as a coding exercise, so it's handy for quickly checking what the expected output should look like. And every now and then reversed or mirrored text just pops up as a novelty in a username or a post somewhere.
Character mode flips literally everything, "hello world" turns into "dlrow olleh". Word mode leaves each word alone and just flips the order they appear in, so "hello world" becomes "world hello" with the letters inside each word untouched.
All three modes handle it fine. Reverse Characters flips the entire block, line breaks and all. Reverse Words flips word order across everything you typed. Reverse Lines is the one worth knowing about for lists, it keeps each line intact but flips the order they're in.
None. Runs entirely in your browser, no server involved, so length isn't really a concern.
Yes. No login wall, no watermark on the output, nothing like that.
